Prime Activities:

Plantation: The Tripura Forest Department plants trees in damaged forest areas through Artificial Regeneration (AR). This helps restore the land by adding new plants.

River Side Plantations: Riverside plantations in Tripura have been established along rivers and major water bodies to prevent riverbank erosion.

Road Side Plantations: Roadside plantations have been done to make the roads look better and improve the travel experience for people.

Check Dams: Creating check dams is an effective way to slow down the flow of water in channels and streams in forests. This helps reduce soil erosion and prevents forest degradation.

Nurseries: A nursery is a place where plants are grown and cared for until they are ready to be planted. The Tripura Forest Department has several nurseries that produce seedlings for plantation activities.

Rail Side Plantations: Railside plantations have been done to enhance the appearance of the railway line and improve the travel experience for passengers.
